Things come up, i try to give my guests the same flexibility they give me. Rescheduling is okay, cancelling sometimes has to happen, as long as you aren’t a no show, we will figure it out 😉

Time to touch up the highlights! This guest also wanted very small pieces of light, red-copper tones as a lowlight, and for some fun- bright red underneath. She prefers her hair long with layers when she gets her haircut. Thankful for every guest that trust me with their hair 🥰

When a persons career is also their passion, it’s shows. There two stylists each had a wedding on Saturday morning on location & then finished the day out with 2 bridal trials. Their energy is contagious, their clients are happy and relaxed and the plans are made for when the wedding day arrives. Curly Girl needed a shape up. She loves that it’s long enough she can get it all up and off her neck in a clip when she wants but she wanted a softer, more rounded shape to her cut. She has different curl patterns on different areas of her head so that adds a little bit of fun to her hair as well.

First time guest to The Salon & in Andrea’s chair. She likes to keep her hair long, wants thin-natural appearing highlights so it grows out nicely, she wants an appointment between 4 & 5 months, she has curly hair so the cut had to be suitable for her curls, for work she needed her hair out of her face and way & she prefers to throw it up in a clip when she needs to . Every thing on her list was met. Her appointment started with a consultation- all appointments should. Her hair was super long when she came in and she was done dealing with it, she hadn’t had time but also wasn’t sure where to go. She loves her hair & I love that!

“OMG! The freaking HAIR! LOVE IT!! I told her, the color EVERYTIME!!! And you always keep it so healthy with not over doing the chemicals!” - my guests mom contacted me after she saw her daughters hair. Every color appointment, we highlight & tone. Her color is consistent, I use low level developers and I make sure I apply her highlights so her hair grows out nicely and there isn’t a harsh line when the e new growth starts to show.

Photos last a lifetime, memories are forever. Saturdays Bride had should length, fine , extremely curly (think wraps around a pencil) , soft hair. For her special day she wanted a half-up style. She had an inspiration photo saved for a while and since I was also her regular hair stylist we worked towards the goal of getting her hair the healthiest & longest we could. She sent me multiple images before her appointment of the hair colors she was considering. At her appointment we discussed each photo, color and her cut, she told me “I trust what you are gonna pick for me out of the photos I sent you, you are an artist.” What she got during her appointment that we hadn’t discussed before hand- she got time to herself. She vented, sat and relaxed, just had a listening ear of information that stays right where she said it. Our salon is a safe space to vent, be yourself & relax. All of the stylist at The Salon by Andrea, want the best for our clients- hair and all.

This guest loves a variety of hair colors. She has had natural looks of sun-kissed highlights on her hair to deep burgundy’s & purple. Her color may change but she does have the same wants every appointment; she has fine hair, she wants volume, she wants it to look thicker, she wants it to look shiny & healthy (her hair is). That is not a lot to ask, between products & styling tips- it’s all attainable.
