When I first started my business, I made $2,000 in the first 4 months.

I told my dad. He looked at me… disgusted, honestly.
“Is that it?” he said.
I asked how much I should be making.
“At least a million a year,” he said.

Classic Asian parent energy: never a “good job,” never a “I’m proud of you.”
You just sit there, hoping one day what you do is enough.

I felt small. But also… determined.
I want to prove to him - and to myself - that I can build something meaningful. That I can honor my roots, work hard, and make him proud one day.

It’s scary. It’s humbling. It’s exciting. And even if I’m not there yet, I’m learning, growing, and building my dream one step at a time.
