What is an Indian hair wig? It's Nikki's personal favorite human hair wig type.

Indian hair wigs have a little body and a natural wave, so they hold their shape really well. The hair can be processed slowly, which keeps its integrity intact and leaves you with real texture.

If you're shopping for a human hair wig because of hair loss, you already know there are a lot of hair types to choose from. Everybody lands on a different favorite, and we help you find the wig that fits your lifestyle.

Wig and topper stylists know exactly what I'm talking about.

09/23/2026

As a woman with hair loss who owns a hair soll solution salon... I think about wigs and toppers a lot (like, A LOT a lot).

I'm taking these wig/topper opinions to the grave because we need to beat the stigma around wearing hair pieces.

So my question to you is... what's your wig/topper opinion that you're not budging on?

Mine is that the best wig is the one that works for you!

Let's talk about what wearing hair might look like for you. Comment LEARN or send us a DM to start the conversation.

Every wig is different. Here's the Wig 101 you need to know...

(These are in no particular order btw!)

The Material:

SYNTHETIC: ~Easy~ Shake it and go, no heat, no styling routine, no thinking about it before you walk out the door.

HUMAN HAIR: ~Flexible~ Style it with heat as often as you want, curl it, straighten it, change it up. It moves like your hair used to.

BLENDED ~Cheating~ In the best way. You get the shape retention from synthetic and the real feel of human hair in one piece.

The Cap:

LACE CAP: ~Lightweight~ Airy on your scalp, no extra hardware weighing it down or digging in.

HAND-TIED: ~Comfortable~ Closed cap construction means you can actually feel your own head underneath, it sits like a head, not like something on top of one.

WEFTED: ~Sizable~ Built to adjust across different head shapes instead of locking you into one fit.

The Hair:

EUROPEAN: ~Silky~ Sourced from European donors, naturally fine, closest to a soft, natural fall. Unprocessed.

ASIAN: ~Thick~ Sourced from Asian donors, dense and strong, built to handle processing all the way to blonde without losing integrity.

INDIAN: ~holds style~ Sourced from Indian donors, natural texture that grips a set and holds your style longer between touch-ups.

No wig is the same because no life is the same. Your schedule, your styling habits, your comfort with upkeep, all of it changes which combination is actually right for you.

That's what tyour first appointment is for (plus it's complimentary). DM us to talk options.

You're ruining your hair piece (and you probably don't realize it) 😬

Let's talk about it ⬇️

Opening an oven or a gas grill with a synthetic piece will actually singe the hair. If you have a blended piece (synthetic and human hair combined), opening the oven/gas grill will do the same as above, and the syntehtic in the wig can frizz.

Blow drying human hair wet to dry will ruin the integrity of the hair over time. I only air dry my human hair wig.

ALWAYS heat protect your human hair when using hot tools. (Seriously. Do it.)

I see a lot of clients that try to color their hair piece on their own. It is almost the opposite to coloring your own hair. Don't do this!

Using tools on too high a heat will burn the hair over time. The hair is most likely already processed, so it’s best to talk with you hair loss salon and ask to learn how to do it properly.

All our styling lessons are included in the purchase of a hair piece, so don't waste it! We include these lessons for a reason.

Wearing hair takes a bit of learning, but once you get the hang of it, it's super easy. I wear hair every single day and I absolutely love it. 🩷

Learn one thing, master it, move on to the next. We got you!
