Ever wonder how I make certain designs in my soap???

💡🎨It starts with an idea or inspiration. First I draw a scale version of what I want the face of the soap to look like, using embed molds or scraping tools that I have.

📐✖️🟰Then I use geometry to take that 2D rendition, using the area measurements, I calculate the 3D volumes I will need of each color.

🧪⚛️ The next step is using chemistry to blend oils and butters with a lye solution to make soap. While the soap is in liquid form, I pour off the necessary volumes of each color, mix the colors, and pour the soap while it’s at the right consistency- not too fluid that it will all muddle together.

🙏🏻 When it’s time to cut it, I pray that it turned out as I envisioned!

Well here’s something you haven’t seen in a while… wet soap! Normally I take January off from making soap, but this year dry January turned into dry Janruarch 😆 It felt good to flex those creative muscles again.
