One of the things I love most about being an esthetician is that there is always something new to learn, refine, and bring into my practice.

💛 National Su***de Prevention Month 💛

This is something a little more personal than what I normally share here.

Nine years ago, I lost my dad to su***de. There isn’t really a way to put into words what losing someone you love that way does to you. It’s something I carry with me every day, and it has made mental health incredibly important to me.

I’ve struggled with depression and anxiety throughout my own life, and I know firsthand that sometimes you can be hurting on the inside while the outside world has no idea.

That’s why I want every single one of my clients to know that my space is always a safe place. 🤍

You can sit in my treatment room and tell me anything. You can vent. You can cry. You can talk about something that’s weighing heavily on you. You can tell me about a bad day, a hard season, or something you don’t feel comfortable telling anyone else.

I will never judge you. I will listen.

I may not always have the right words or be able to fix what you’re going through, but I can listen and remind you that you don’t have to carry everything alone.

Your mental health is important. Your feelings are important. And you are important.

Please remember to check on your people. Send the text. Make the phone call. Ask someone how they’re really doing. You never know what someone may be silently going through.

And if you’re struggling right now, please know that asking for help is not weakness. You deserve support, you deserve to be heard, and you deserve to be here.
