Mary-Alice Ellis LMT

Yes, yes you can!

Sometimes you just need to relax.

📢📢 Help us Congratulate Leara 📢📢

Leara graduated from our night program in July and passed her MBLEx! Okay, it was more than a week ago and I just haven’t had an opportunity to share the good news with you all.

Leara - we are SO proud of you! Once she is settled and ready for new clients, we will share info on where you can find her. 😎

I am so incredibly thankful to everyone who came out on either day to see me, my colleagues, or our students. My heart is so full seeing alumni of different years and current students working beside each other. Truly thank you for coming out for this fantastic cause for a wonderful human!

Fundraiser weekend day 2: morning crew 🤙🏻

We have just under a week left! I still have a ton of weekend availability for this fundraiser! Please come show your support to a fantastic human and bodyworker by receiving massage on my table!

Look forward to seeing you there!

Carolina School of Bodywork Fundraiser for Mina

Join us at Carolina School of Bodywork on Saturday September 26th and Sunday September 27th as Instructors and Alumni come together to support our colleague, Mina.

Mina has been on a health journey for several months seeking answers and procedures for what she is experiencing. Not only is she an active LMT in our community, but she is one of our caring instructors molding the minds of future LMTs in our classroom. She has largely been unable to work physically and needs our support.

Our staff and alumni are offering professional massage sessions in our classroom at a discount, and all proceeds will go toward supporting Mina's care.

WHEN SCHEDULING PLEASE DO NOT PREPAY - we ask that all sessions be paid in cash or directly to Mina via venmo

Pregnancy is an incredible journey, but it can also ask a lot from your body. As your baby grows, your body changes right along with them, each trimester bringing something different.

Early pregnancy may bring fatigue and tension. As your belly grows, your posture shifts, your muscles and joints work differently, and aches and discomfort may become more noticeable. By the final weeks, finding a comfortable position, getting quality rest, and simply moving through the day can become more challenging.

That’s why consistent prenatal massage can be so important. Your massage can be adjusted as your body changes, allowing each session to focus on what you need right now; whether that’s relaxation, easing muscle tension, supporting comfort, or simply having some quiet time to slow down and focus on yourself.

You’re growing a whole human. Your body deserves some care along the way, too.

If you’re expecting, let’s make your comfort a priority throughout every stage of your pregnancy.

Come out and show your support!
We show our love and care for others not only in words, but actions.

It is exactly why I do the work that I do, and it is why I am a part of this fundraiser.

This cost is at a discount from what I usually charge. I will be working both Saturday and Sunday.

📣 Important Announcement 📣

Help us congratulate Anderson on passing his MBLEx today - and he passed it under an incredible amount of pressure!

If you’ve never taken a proctored standardized test before, you know how stressful that is. You must be early because on time is late. 😵‍💫

Now imagine that your CAR BREAKS DOWN on the way! So you get your car towed to a shop, call the testing center and hope for mercy, and then order an Uber. The testing center says they will take you up to 30 minutes late and it’s right before rush hour. 🫣😖

So not only is Anderson incredibly lucky, but we can attest that he problem solves like a pro! 😎

Anderson, it was a joy getting to know you and we can’t wait to see how far you go.

📣 Excuse us 📣

Help us congratulate Kayleigh on passing her MBLEx today! Kayleigh is already a Licensed Esthetician and will soon be licensed to massage as well.

Kayleigh currently serves the West Ashley community at Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa. We are SO proud of her and can’t wait to see where she takes her career!
