Dear LaBelle Hair Studio clients,

After nearly 16 years of doing hair, I have made the incredibly difficult decision to close my business and pursue my next journey in life as a stay-at-home Mom.

As you can imagine, this is a decision I have been contemplating for a very, very long time. In my heart, I know I am making the best decision for me and for my family. I am beyond excited to spend these short and precious years at home raising my babies and being as present as I can for them before I blink and they are grown.

But that doesn't make saying goodbye to all of you any easier.

I cannot begin to express how much I am going to miss working behind the chair and getting to know each of you. You have shared pieces of your lives with me over the years, and I will always honor that. I am incredibly grateful that I have been the person some of you chose to share important news with first — pregnancies, losses, relationships, life changes, big moves, tragedies, accomplishments, and everything in between. The list goes on.

I have had the privilege of watching so many of you move through different seasons of your lives, and somewhere along the way, many of you became more than clients. You became friends. I have shared pieces of my own life with you too, and I will always hold those conversations, relationships, laughs, tears, and memories very close to my heart. Thank you for allowing me into your lives and for allowing me to share mine with you. 💓

I have written and rewritten this about 20 times, and I am choosing to keep it short because I could truly go on and on. The main point is that I adore so many of you. I am grateful, thankful, and beyond blessed that I have been able to spend so many years making you feel good on the outside while also being a trusted person to talk to about the things happening on the inside.

It has been my absolute pleasure.

I also know that this isn't just a change for me. For many of you, finding a new stylist after years of sitting in my chair may feel like a really big deal. Your hair appointments became part of your routines, and for many of us, our time together became about so much more than hair. I understand that starting over with someone new can feel uncomfortable, emotional, and even overwhelming, and I am truly sorry for the difficult transition this may create for you. Please know that I will do everything I can to help make that transition as easy as possible, including making referrals whenever I can.

As far as logistics go, I will be working business as usual through October 31st. Halloween will be my final day behind the chair. My book is filling up quickly, as you can imagine, so if you would like to see me before I close, please book while there is still availability.

I know this may come as a surprise to many of you. This is something I have been navigating in my personal life for a very long time, and I haven't spoken much about it because, for a long time, I wasn't even sure it would ever be possible.

Thanks to my wonderful husband and all of the hard work we have been putting in together, I am finally in a place where I can make this dream a reality.

I am going to miss so many of you more than I can possibly express.

Thank you — truly — for nearly 16 years of your business, your trust, your loyalty, your support, your stories, your friendship, and your love. Thank you for choosing me over and over again. Thank you for trusting me with something as personal as your hair, but even more than that, thank you for trusting me with pieces of your lives.

LaBelle Hair Studio has been such a meaningful part of my life, and I will carry the memories and relationships I've made here with me into whatever comes next.
