A few things I believe in as your hairstylist.. 1. Whatever hair products work for you, go for it. I don't really care if it's from Target. 2. Not everyone should be blonde (surprise!) 3. Healthy hair comes before your inspo picture. If we can't get there without compromising your hair, then we are not going to get there. A stylist should be real with you about expectations. 4. Salon appointments are a luxury. 5. Not everyone should chase the current hair trend.

The older I get the more I'm learning that it's important to take care of myself. The night I turned 30 my entire body broke out in a rash. If that's not God's sign of welcoming me into the next decade, I don't know what is! I have never ever been one to spend money or time on myself. I have always found it easy to spend time and money on others. I have decided that doing small things to make myself feel better are more important than ignoring them- Mostly because I have my little girl watching me and learning that it's important to put energy into yourself, not just others. So this is me giving you permission to take care of you, too.

If you are new around here and you didn’t know… I color brunettes too.

If you’ve been debating whether to make the switch from blonde, here are a few reasons brunette might be worth considering…
