🥾 2,000+ miles later… and those curls needed a little love. 🤎
After seven months away, one of my favorite clients and friends finally made it back into my chair—and for the most incredible reason. She hiked the Appalachian Trail from Georgia all the way to Maine! ⛰️🥾🌲
Seven months of mountains, weather, determination, strength and one heck of an adventure. I’ve missed her dearly, but I couldn’t be more proud of this amazing woman.
Today it was finally time to take care of HER again. ✂️
We said goodbye to the long, heavy, trail-worn hair, carved in beautiful layers, removed the weight and brought those gorgeous natural curls back to LIFE. ➰✨

Sometimes I really wish I remembered the “before” picture… today was one of those days. ❤️✂️
She came to me with long, thick, one length hair and after more than 30 years as a hairstylist herself, she told me she hadn’t been truly happy with a haircut in nearly 16 years.
No pressure, right? 😉😱😳
We kept her beautiful length but gave all that hair somewhere to GO soft, voluptuous layers, movement, shape and enough freedom that her natural curl and body could finally come alive.
But the best part wasn’t the haircut.
It was watching another woman who has spent decades making other people feel beautiful look at herself, smile, and walk out of my chair with a whole new spring in her step.
I may have forgotten the before picture, but I won’t forget the after feeling.
The biggest compliment you can give me is telling me people compliment you, well the feeling of making a fellow stylist feel beautiful give me the best feeling ever!
