This may not be the most refined way to communicate this, but I am so past the point of caring. Guys, you have to stop with the no shows. Every service provider I know is continuously dealing with no shows right now.

I had my second pregnancy loss in months over the weekend. I had a D&C yesterday. I rolled myself out of bed today to get to work because I have no choice. I’m fully booked and leave for a pre planned vacation next week. I’m faithful to my business and my clients and I show up.

If I can do that, the least you can do is be respectful enough to message me with a heads up. Come on.

Cancel your appointments ahead of time. Be respectful. And if something comes up same day, COMMUNICATE THAT. There is quite literally no excuse.

Some myths we discussed during the consult portion of her appointment:

• Older women are not eligible for microblading. This is false! With proper education and the understanding of how our skin thins with age, using proper technique ensures nearly anyone is eligible for this service.

• Eyebrows have to be dark and thick. Absolutely not! It is YOUR face, so we will always customize your shape and pigment to suit you and your desired outcome. Nothing permanent happens until YOU approve of our outlined shape and we thoroughly discuss pigment.

At each brow appointment, my clients and I work as a team to best guarantee satisfaction. Microblading can be intimidating, but it truly doesn’t have to be!
