I have always had a passion to pursue a career in the hair and beauty industry. In the fall of 2014 I took a leap of faith and went into business for myself.
I have been doing hair professionally since 2011 and I am licensed in the states of Indiana and Michigan. I now work at a small booth rental salon in Niles, MI where I rent from one of my best friends. Sage Salon is where I have grown and thrived with my career, and by being my own boss I found a freedom I was never able to enjoy. This all enables me to do on site hair as well, primarily for wedding parties, which is probably my favorite part of my career. My goal with every client is to provide them with exceptional service and respect. I get to connect with all my clients on a personal level, and I am proud to be a part of their lives.

August spots are completely booked as we are approaching the arrival of our newest little girl. September is booking up quickly, and my last work day will be September 20th so if anyone needs something, message me asap!

I always look forward to doing Tori’s hair. We always have fun with something different and this style is perfect for this dancing queen!
We are finally able to reopen June 15th! I am so thrilled and have missed you all deeply. I will be contacting you all as soon as we know how to proceed with scheduling. We may have to make some changes in our usual work and sanitation practices. I will let everyone know what is happening once we find out. Thank you for all of your patience! It’s been a hard road but we are on our way up now!
Hello everyone! With all that has been going on, there has now been an executive order in regards to Covid-19. All Michigan salons must close until atleast April 13th. I will be contacting those who are scheduled in the next few weeks to reschedule. It pains me to have to do this but we unfortunately do not have a choice.

Had so much fun with a good friend of mine, and FYI I’m back from my maternity leave! In person, this color was even more fabulous! TiaLee’s natural black really compliments with the green we added🖤💚

Cut and styled this Tony Stark cosplay wig for a dear friend!
As the holidays are approaching, and our baby’s due date, I am filling up quickly! I am planning on taking maternity leave the middle of January, and will be cutting down my hours at the salon. All this said, I also am planning on going back to work not too long after our little girl makes her appearance. So be sure to get those appointments scheduled soon!

LET'S TALK BLACK BOX DYE ⚠️ One of the most common color corrections is removing black box dye. DO NOT expect to be blonde after 1 session! It will not happen and it's not the stylist's fault, we are limited to the canvas you bring us.
You CAN get rid of the black dye completely, but it will take few sessions, a couple of hundred $'s and losing some length. Trust the process & your stylist, and you will get the results you want!
