I cleaned my makeup kit today. I took everything out and gave each product some much-deserved love, wiping away fingerprints and product residue from the special moments they’ve been a part of.

And while everything was laid out, I couldn’t help but admire her. She’s taken me YEARS to curate, and I’m so proud of the collection I’ve built. Of course, my wishlist is never-ending, but watching her evolve brings me so much joy.

You might notice my kit is a little all over the place when it comes to brands. Truth is that I’m extremely particular about formulas, colors, undertones, and how products perform on different skin types and tones. I might love one brand’s formula but find that another has a better shade for what I’m trying to create.

When you sit in my chair, you’re getting more than a makeup application. You’re getting years of knowledge, trial and error, and a collection I’ve thoughtfully built to bring out the best in you.

Maybe one day she’ll look a little more cohesive, but knowing me, probably not. 🫤😂

Not saying your brush is the reason your foundation looks cakey—but it’s one of the first things people overlook. When your foundation isn’t applying the way you want, it’s easy to focus on how to fix the product itself: buying a new foundation, switching formulas, or adding another step to your routine.

When I worked in retail, lots of people came to me thinking they needed a new foundation because the one they were using looked cakey. But after asking a few questions, I often found they were already using a really good foundation. So I’d ask: How are you cleansing your skin? Are you exfoliating and hydrating? Are you using a primer beforehand? And when was the last time you washed your foundation brush?

If you’ve prepped your skin, tried a primer, and still aren’t loving your finish, don’t immediately blame your foundation. Give your brush a good wash first—it could be the step you’ve been overlooking.

I’m a traveling Makeup Artist based in Newport, Rhode Island, specializing in bridal and special event makeup. After more than a decade in the beauty industry, including my years with Ulta Beauty and Nordstrom, I’ve had the privilege of helping thousands of women feel more confident in their skin and achieve their beauty goals.

But my love for this industry has never really been about makeup.

It’s about how makeup makes you feel.

I love creating looks that feel like you — elevated, intentional, and beautifully tailored to the person sitting in my chair. I’m extremely detail-oriented, I listen closely, and I ask questions because I want to understand exactly what makes you feel your most beautiful.

For my bridal and event clients, my goal is to create more than a beautiful makeup look. I want the entire experience to feel luxurious, comfortable, personal, and effortless — so you can walk into your moment feeling confident, empowered, and completely yourself.

I also offer personalized makeup lessons and beauty consultations, where I take the time to understand your lifestyle, goals, preferences, and current routine before curating recommendations specifically for you.
