I’ve honestly been hesitating to make it because Scorpio is my Sun sign, so it feels a little too close to home. I kept thinking about myself and my friend Seven while I was writing it. She’s a Scorpio Rising. I’m a Scorpio Sun. We are deep. We are mystical. We have a hard time with balance. We have a hard time not wanting to burn down the world when someone betrays our trust. We have a hard time not letting our gaze pe*****te straight into someone’s soul. And yes, Scorpios have some slightly evil and cunning qualities. But when that energy is balanced? It’s fu***ng gorgeous. We naturally trigger people because we see the truth underneath the performance. And frankly, we don’t give a f**k who you are. We just want you to be honest. That’s the beautiful thing about Scorpio. You can be a broken mirror. You can be selfish. Narcissistic. Small. Afraid. Sad. Whatever. I don’t care. Just show up as you are. And I’ll say, hell yeah. That’s real. Scorpios understand death and rebirth. We know that everything falls apart eventually. We know how to walk through the darkness and come back with something new. We are the witches and wizards of the earthly realm. We live on the ocean floor. Everyone has the capacity for depth. But Scorpios? We were born down there.
