In Loving Memory of Payton Holbrook

With heavy hearts, we share that Payton has passed away. Payton was a deeply valued member of our Bloom community and will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His presence, kindness, and impact will not be forgotten.

We extend our deepest condolences to Payton’s family, friends, and all those grieving his loss.

Bloom will be hosting a Celebration of Life on Saturday, February 7th, from 6–9 PM at Bloom Beauty Lounge to honor Payton and the impact he had on so many lives.

Just a Teeny…Tiny… Hair Change 😉

We are heartbroken to share the news of Billy’s passing yesterday morning.

Billy was instrumental in shaping Bloom’s education program. He challenged me, expanded my approach to curly hair, and brought me back to the foundation where structure is key. He pushed me, sometimes debated me fiercely, but always for the better. It was Billy who helped me see Bloom’s potential on a larger stage, and it’s because of his vision that I chose to expand the salon into a new space filled with light and views.

His wife, Lauren, brought warmth and spirit into Bloom every single day, creating the family environment that so many of us cherished. Together, they became part of the very heartbeat of Bloom. Even when they moved back to Oklahoma to begin the next chapter of their lives, we knew they would always remain woven into the fabric of our community.

Just three weeks ago, Billy and Lauren welcomed their daughter, Lucy. There are no words big enough to hold both the beauty and the heartbreak of that timing. Our love and deepest condolences are with Lauren and baby Lucy as they navigate this unimaginable loss.

Billy will always be remembered here, not just for his teaching and vision, but for the spirit he left with us all.

Rest in peace, Billy, you will forever be part of Bloom.
