This is my mom, Felicia Lee. She is the first Black woman Maitre’d of the restaurant on top of the World Trade Center, Windows on the World. There is a CNN documentary coming out about the restaurant and my mom was not asked to be a part of it. This is a huge oversight on their part. My mother has a story and it needs to be shared!

This was the day that changed the course of my life forever. and I met at our corporate job back in the early 00's. My co-workers knew of my passion for makeup and all said I had to meet him. When I did I asked him if he ever needed help with HMU and he asked me to help him with Out on Broadway with the Gay Mens Chorus. It was the most fun and at by the end I was serious about a career in Makeup. He also gifted me my first set of MAC brushes! And Rest in peace Rob. You were so kind and a beautiful person!
