Benzoyl peroxide is too drying for the face, but it can be a great option for body acne. I tell patients to choose a 10% benzoyl peroxide wash, apply a small amount to the chest, back, or shoulders, and let it sit for 5 minutes before washing it off. Keeping it in the shower will save sheets and towels from the bleaching effect.

I hear this question a lot. “How often should I wash my face?”
My one rule when it comes to washing your face is to always wash before bed. Skin accumulates sweat, dirt, and makeup throughout the day, and it’s important to wash that off.
