For a long time, I was terrified to share moments like this. I thought I always had to look “professional” online so people would feel safe trusting me with their brows, eyeliner, lips, or tattoos. I felt like I always needed to be perfectly put together, with a full face of makeup and nice clothes, so there wouldn’t be a disconnect between the work I post and the artist behind it.
But over the years, so many of my clients have inspired me simply by being themselves. During your appointments, you don’t just trust me with your face or your body, you trust me with your stories. You share your joys, fears, losses, dreams, and the messy parts of life. And somehow, all of those conversations have slowly helped me free myself too.
