We’re studying the relationship between NAD+ biology and menopause.
Because menopause deserves a place in the longevity conversation.

Menopause is part of the larger story of women’s health and longevity.
A systematic review of 53 studies, representing more than 450,000 women across 28 longitudinal cohorts, found associations between menopausal symptoms and cardiovascular disease, diabetes, psychiatric disorders, and reduced bone mineral density.
The findings don’t establish that menopausal symptoms cause these outcomes, and more research is needed to understand these relationships. The authors conclude that future work, however, should “evaluate whether treating menopausal symptoms could lead to improvements in future health outcomes.”
And they point to an important idea: menopause deserves a place in the longevity conversation.

Cooler weather. A warm cup of coffee. And, perhaps, some ancient cellular biology.
New research suggests caffeine may activate AMPK, an ancient cellular energy sensor that helps cells respond to energy demands and stress. AMPK is involved in processes like cell growth, stress responses, and DNA repair—making it an intriguing pathway to study in the context of aging.
AMPK acts as a brake on TORC1, a well-studied lifespan regulator. When TORC1 is inhibited, cells shift away from growth and toward maintenance and survival. Interventions that inhibit TORC1, including rapamycin and dietary restriction, have been linked to lifespan extension across a wide range of model organisms, and those findings are an established cornerstone of aging biology.
One important caveat: this new research was conducted in yeast. The next question is whether caffeine activates the same pathway in humans.

Sleep isn't downtime. It's when your brain runs maintenance.
New research from MIT found that pink noise bursts, precisely timed to the brain's own slow waves, strengthened the flow of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) that helps clear waste from the brain.
This was a small study of 14 healthy adults, and it did not show that playing pink noise overnight has the same effect. But researchers want to explore whether enhancing this natural process could one day support healthier brain aging, so it's an area of study to watch.

As Healthy Aging Month comes to a close, it’s worth revisiting: What do we mean by “longevity”?
For us, it’s not just about adding years to life. It’s about extending the years we spend healthy, active, and able to do the things that make life worth living.

Longevity.Technology took a closer look at The Elysium Longevity Institute, our physician-led clinical program built around individualized care, clinical oversight, and rigorous standards.
“Our responsibility isn’t simply to make the latest advances in longevity science available,” said Elysium Co-Founder and CEO Eric Marcotulli. “It’s to evaluate them rigorously, deliver them responsibly, and continue contributing to the evidence that shapes the future of longevity medicine.”
Because longevity science advances are only part of the equation. The other is translating those advances into personalized, physician-guided care.

Creatine is having a bit of a rebrand.
Beyond building strength, it works in the body in more fundamental ways: replenishing cellular energy wherever your cells need it most—including the brain.
We built Creatine+ around that broader picture: pairing high-purity creatine with HMB and pomegranate polyphenols for strength, recovery, and cellular energy that goes beyond the gym.
