|| An inside look at our Melbourne Film Wig Building Master Class ||

Zero experience has nothing to do with your ability to learn the craft. The best students are always the ones who see the art before the sticker price it’s sold at.
Who want to do the best they can, who have the patience not to give up on themselves when they don’t feel immediately naturally gifted, in a skill set where almost every instinct… will lead you down the wrong direction.

A very small amount of you will understand the reference, but those who do (my favorite people) will understand what makes a good wig maker, in the beginning stages of learning to build wigs for the first time.

“You CAN NOT PASS your boating exam if you floor it... it only works when you use your… big toe.”
And I’ll leave that there. 🐨🙃

A big thank you to master film makeup educator Deb Davis for showing us how to melt & how to build faux skin bases for all complexions… along with other film secrets that transfer seamlessly into everyday wear & medical wigs.
One of my biggest regrets is not being able to have attended your school in Sydney when I started, but I’m so grateful you gave the attendees a peek into your world.
