When I first started building my kit, I bought products because I saw other artists using them and loved how their makeup looked. What I wasn’t paying enough attention to was the technique behind it.
Before I knew it, I had silicone based products, water based products, and a kit full of things I didn’t fully understand how to layer together.

I used to hate wearing makeup because I felt like I would sweat it off almost immediately. Becoming a makeup artist made me determined to figure out how to make makeup actually last. That journey is what led me to focus on sweat-proof, long-wear, camera ready makeup.
I used to avoid blush completely because I never felt like the shade ranges worked for me. Now it’s one of my favorite ways to bring dimension, warmth, and life back into the face. Funny how techniques change when the products finally catch up.
