🎃🧼 When fresh soap batter is exposed to naturally occuring carbon dioxide, it creates what is known as “soda ash” and yes, it makes soap look ashy! It isn’t harmful, it’s purely cosmetic. It also isn’t a soaping crime to NOT steam it off, it’s merely a preference but when you do, it restores the vibrancy of the colors and adds a bit of a glossy finish! ✨
