Wet, styled, almost dry, and fully dry, each step reveals a little more of the final shape, definition, and volume.

Part 2 — the styling and final result. ✨

Since we used Davines for the treatment, we continued with Davines for the styling too.

For Brunna, the goal wasn’t maximum definition, it was soft curls, moisture, movement, and lots of volume. We used Curly Gel Oil through the lengths and ends, distributed the product evenly, diffused, and then softened the cast with Davines Oil to bring out even more movement and shine.

The result? Softer, more hydrated-looking curls with beautiful volume and definition. 🤍

And the best part: this was just our first test with Davines Naturaltech Tailoring.

At Casagrande Salon, we work with Davines Naturaltech Tailoring, a customizable treatment system that combines different bases and boosters according to the needs of each hair type.

For Brunna, we selected the Tailoring Moisture Base No. 2 for dry hair and paired it with the Tailoring Controlling Booster No. 5 to help control frizz, improve porosity, and support more definition, moisture, and shine.

The best part? The treatment is personalized after a consultation and quiz, so the combination can be different for every client.

Have you ever left a salon feeling disappointed with your haircut?

A bad haircut can be incredibly frustrating, especially when you’re trying to keep your length and still feel confident wearing your natural curls.

This client came to me after a curly haircut that left the layers disconnected, the top heavy and uneven, and the overall shape difficult for her to wear.

The quickest way to completely correct it would have been to cut much more length, but that wasn’t what she wanted. So after months of letting it grow, we finally started the correction process.

For this appointment, I used my dry cutting technique to begin rebalancing the shape, reconnecting the layers, and creating more movement while preserving as much length as possible.

And this is only the beginning. ✨
