LHA or PHA? The answer depends on what your skin actually needs. 🧪✨

Both are exfoliating acids, but the way they interact with the skin is very different and here’s how they work.

LHA is oil-soluble, giving it an affinity for sebum and allowing it to work within oily areas and pores. This makes it especially useful when we’re targeting congestion, clogged pores, and uneven texture.

PHA has a larger molecular structure and works more gradually at the skin’s surface. Along with gentle exfoliation, PHAs also have humectant properties that help attract moisture, making them a great option when hydration and barrier-conscious exfoliation are priorities.
