Congratulations to Dr. Michael Christian Virata, a faculty of the DLSU Department of Biology, on his Anatomic Pathology Residency and Neuropathology Fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York City, USA. The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai offers a combined Anatomic Pathology Residency and Neuropathology Fellowship, known as the Anatomic and Neuropathology Pathway (AP/NP), is a unique training experience that allows for completion of combined Anatomic Pathology Residency and Neuropathology Fellowship in four years timeframe. Dr. Virata will undergo extensive training in all aspects of neuropathology.

Sa Pilipinas nuong taong 2023, 350+ ang ka*ong naitala at patuloy itong tumataas. Sa katunayan, nuong February 4, 2024, isang 13 year old na tiga Manila ang namatay dahil sa rabies pagkatapos siyang makagat ng galang a*o at itinago sa kaniyang magulang.

Siguraduhing pabakunahan ang inyong anak laban sa rabies. Ang rabies vaccine ay ibinibigay sa edad 2-10 years old, 2 doses on days 0 and 7.
