Young kids need really basic skincare: hygiene and bath products, a good moisturizer for barrier protection (it’s still forming!) and SPF (skin cancer can be from cumulative sun exposure over time and including childhood). The fewer and the safer the ingredients the better.

If acne is a concern, Monolaurin is so safe it’s found in breast milk. There are other options that are safe and effective: talk to a dermatologist instead of piling on the mega actives.

AI-generated wellness influencers are getting harder and harder to distinguish! Be wary. Trust an actual dermatologist over any influencer, AI or not. Be safe out there!

The New York Times found hundreds of A.I.-generated doctors, healers and wellness influencers on social media touting the health benefits of supplements to American consumers. Many of these hyperrealistic looking ads promise medical miracles, and appear to be targeting older women, while making misleading health claims for a profit.
