Saturday, July 25, Cirque Du Creep transforms The Yard into Camp Cryptid, where Bigfoot’s on the guest list, aliens are roaming the grounds, Mothman’s apparently booked a flash tattoo appointment, and the whole place feels like another world dropped into the middle of Beacon.

This isn’t your typical craft fair. More than 80 artists, oddities dealers, vintage curators, and alternative small businesses transform The Yard into the Hudson Valley’s weirdest campground. Instead of carnival rides, you’ll find towering stilt-walking cryptids, a fire show, a contortionist folding herself into impossible shapes, roaming monsters, live music, and surprises around every corner.

Looking to take a piece of Camp Cryptid home? Nine tattoo artists will be slinging flash all night, Sand Panda is handling piercings, Cherry Bomb NYC is bringing tooth gems, and tarot readers and astrologers will gladly explain why your last relationship was doomed from the start.

The entertainment doesn’t let up. Horror surf punk from ‘71 Super Creep, live sets from Sound of a Smirk and No More Sun, plus aerial performances and fire from Hot Fix Sideshow keep the energy going all night.

What makes Camp Cryptid different is how immersive it feels. You’re not just walking past booths, you’re stepping into a world where cryptids roam, performers move through the crowd, and every lap uncovers something you missed the first time. Half the fun is never knowing what you’ll discover next.

Costumes aren’t required, but you’ll have a lot more fun if you show up in one. Whether you’re Bigfoot, Mothman, an alien, or something completely original, you’ll fit right in.
