Before I welcome my client, I like to prepare the atmosphere. 🤍

The truth is, I don’t know what she’s walking in with.

Maybe she had a great morning. Maybe she’s overwhelmed. Maybe she’s coming straight from work. Maybe she’s carrying something heavy that nobody else knows about.

& while I can’t control what happened before she walked through my door, I can be intentional about what she walks into.

So before my clients arrive, I prepare my space. I prepare my mind. I prepare my heart. I get myself centered so I can be fully present for the woman walking through my door.

Because yes, she’s coming in for a service... but she’s also a whole person. 🫶🏾

🧴 Kiehl’s Better Screen Miner-all UV Serum Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50 – This has been my go-to face sunscreen lately! If you have melanin-rich skin, then you already know… finding a mineral sunscreen that doesn’t leave you looking ashy can be a challenge. This one blends beautifully on my skin.

Just a friendly reminder: mineral and chemical sunscreens are both effective when used as directed. The best sunscreen is the one you’ll wear consistently, enjoy using, doesn’t leave you looking like a ghost or cause breakouts.
