Happy 53rd Birthday to me!♎️⚖️🎉🎉

📌Today reminded me exactly why I became a hairstylist.
I was in the middle of a session with a client who was deeply grieving the loss of her mother. We were sharing a heavy, tender moment when a homeless woman knocked on my salon door, asking if she could get a haircut.
Mind you, I had Gospel serenading thee salon..
Right then, I felt God clearly tell me to say yes and give her the haircut.🙏🏾
It was such a beautiful reminder that my chair isn't just about making people look good—it’s a place for healing, connection, and serving others when they need it most.🙌🏾🙏🏾❤️
I reminded them both that : This too shall pass.🙏🏾
~I chose not to share pics out of respect & protect her privacy. She deserves to be seen at her best, not in a hard moment..🙏🏾
📌Not only healing scalps, but hearts as well🙌🏾🙏🏾❤️
📌Another Stylist made her feel ashamed..
This luvbug said she felt neglected & a burden to previous Stylist..
I felt compelled to do a voice over (which I'm not keen on doing because I feel as though I don't have thee proper " speaking" voice😔)but I needed this to be heard!
She cried, which numerous luvbugs do, but it ALWAYS throws me off guard.
She absolutely loved her new transformstion & asked if she could give me a hug with tears of joy!🤗
I am building a movement to encourage & empower women facing hair loss to proudly wear THEIR hair!🙌🏾🙏🏾❤️
