Every wedding I do, I send out a hair prep guide beforehand. This ensures the best end result for your style.

One of the most common issues people tend to have with their curly hair is frizz. You can’t fight the frizz unless you understand what’s causing it in the first place. If your hair is too dry when you start styling, the frizz is already starting and you just lock it in with your styling products. If you apply products to your whole head at once, the product won’t reach all of your hair making it look less defined when it dries. Many curly products have different levels of hold which can impact how your hair looks. If you’re using primarily leave in conditioners and curl creams, they might no have enough hold to eliminate your frizz. Try using a gel or foam instead!

Look how healthy and shiny her curls look after this highlight.
She wanted subtle but still enough to see there was a change. Her concern was washing out her complexion. This had the effect of brightening her complexion and adding beautiful dimension to her curls!

I love to dry cut curls when there are multiple curl patterns present. It allows a better blend between the looser and tighter curls. Leaving you with a much more cohesive finish.
She had a looser curl above the ears than was present in the nape or on top. It left her with a disconnect through the sides. I was able to blend that away giving her a more rounded shape.
