meet Gracie💖 another one of our Illuminated Lashes Brand Ambassadors & the lash artist behind .gracie in Oklahoma City👏🏼
Gracie is a licensed esthetician AND lash artist, which means she's the kind of girlie who isn't going to recommend something to you just because someone told her it's good🤭
she wants to research it. understand it. ask the questions. & know WHY she's recommending it first.
but what I'm especially excited about with Gracie is where she wants to go next...her long-term goal is to become a lash educator💖
& she's treating this ambassadorship as another opportunity to learn, grow & really understand what she's working with BEFORE she eventually turns around & teaches it to someone else.
which obviouslyyyy aligns pretty perfectly with what we're building over here👏🏼 she also came into this with an entire list of content ideas already mapped out, so if that tells you anything...our girl is a PLANNER!
thoughtful, curious, education-minded & already thinking about how she can share what she's learning with other artists.

learning how to apply lashes is only PART of becoming a lash artist👏🏼 because eventually you're going to have a real client lying on your table...
& she's going to ask you a question you weren't expecting. her lashes aren't going to look exactly like the mannequin you practiced on. your tweezers are going to have their days of being frustrating.
you'll have to decide what map actually works for HER eyes, communicate expectations, troubleshoot retention, understand when something isn't safe & confidently make decisions without an educator standing beside you.
and THAT is why I care so much about your lash education💖 because your training shouldn't just teach you how to put an extension on a natural lash.
it should also be teaching you all the little details that you don't even realize you'll run into later on, too.
that's a huge part of how I'm approaching my November UV Lash Academy. we are going to be deep-diving into all aspects of becoming a lash artist together!
this is a 45 hour class that will license you to legally lash in the state of Indiana. only 3 students will be accepted. you'll get hands-on practice, live model work & UV education from the very beginning.

another Illuminated Lashes Brand Ambassador introductionnnn💖 meet Mollie, the lash artist behind .by.mollie in Salem, IN!
Mollie's UV story actually started because traditional adhesive was literally burning her eyes...even while wearing glasses🥲
so when she made the switch to UV, she went ALL IN. she started with Sacred Bond right out of the gate & was also one of the first girlies to grab the Sacred Beam UV System, which means she's been growing right alongside Illuminated Lashes for quite a while now🥹💖
& something I love about Mollie is that she's not going to tell you a product magically fixes everything! better retention? absolutelyyy. but she'll also be the first to remind you that none of it matters if your prep isn't right👏🏼
her content is full of the kind of education I love seeing in our industry...info posts & explanations that actually help you understand what you're doing & WHY rather than just being cute posts.
she's also local to me, so getting to have her as part of our ambassador family feels extra special💖

because I don't want to stand at the front of a huge classroom, teach you a technique once & hope you figured it out. I want to actually watch you work.
I want to notice when your hand placement is off, help you troubleshoot when something isn't clicking, answer the random questions that come up while you're practicing & be right there when you move from mannequins to working on a real person👏🏼
keeping my Indiana uv lash academy to only three students means I can give you personalized feedback, one-on-one attention & the space to actually learn instead of feeling like you have to keep up with everyone else.
especially because we're not just learning how to apply lashes. we're spending 45 hours building the foundation you need to begin lashing professionally AND learning UV from the very beginning💖

it's officially time to introduce the Illuminated Lashes UV Lash Academy💖
I've been thinking a LOT about where I want Illuminated Lashes to go next & I keep coming back to education. because I don't just want to give lash artists better products.
I want to help create better educated, more confident lash artists who understand what they're doing, WHY they're doing it & feel prepared to work with real clients👏🏼
SO this November, I'm opening my classroom to just THREE students for a 45-hour Indiana lash license training...& we're learning UV from the very beginning!
this isn't going to be a huge classroom where you're trying to keep up from the back of the room. three students means I get to actually watch you work, answer your questions, help you troubleshoot & give you the hands-on attention I believe you deserve when you're learning a completely new skill.
we'll cover the foundations of becoming a lash artist, practice hands-on, work with live models & you'll receive a professional lash kit including your own Sacred Beam UV System.
this training will legally license you to lash in the state of Indiana! and I am now accepting students for my November cohort!
November 2nd–14th in New Albany, IN. 45 hour training. $1,697 investment.
