I always check in and ask my clients to rate how they feel on a scale of 1 to 10—and it’s almost always a 1 or 2. Because permanent makeup requires so much precision, the process does take a little time. But your comfort never has to fade! I use a specialized secondary numbing step once the skin is open to make sure you stay completely pain-free and relaxed the entire time.
