We have our hands in a lot of different things throughout the year at Rise Barbershop, but this one will always mean the most to us. ❤️

Marques wasn’t just a familiar face around the shop. He was a great friend to so many of us and to so many people who still walk through our doors today. He was loved, he is missed, and his memory will always have a place here at Rise.

Every year we hold our Winter Coat, Hat & Glove Drive in memory of Marques Menard, and every year this community reminds us just how incredible it is. The turnout and generosity never disappoint.

From October 1st through November 1st, we’ll be collecting new or gently used winter coats, hats, gloves, and other winter gear. Something sitting in the back of your closet that you no longer use could mean warmth, comfort, and a fighting chance for someone facing a New England winter without a home.

If you’re able to donate, please bring anything you can to Rise Barbershop, 136 West Pearl Street in Nashua.

And even if you can’t donate, please share this post. Sometimes a share reaches the exact person who can help.

✨ Exciting News! ✨

Starting in mid-July, JillyKutz will be reopening with limited services! I’ll be offering basic haircuts and simple color services as I ease back into the salon.

🕛 Hours will be Wednesday through Friday, 12 PM–6 PM.

Services will be available on a first come, first served basis. Please message me on social media or text me for availability, as online booking will remain disabled until August.

Thank you all for your patience and continued support during this special time. I can’t wait to get back behind the chair and see everyone again! 💕✂️

Our little girl made her arrival today (6/6/26), a bit earlier than expected, so my maternity leave is officially starting now. 💜👶

Thank you all for your love, support, and understanding while I take some time with my newest assistant. I’m planning to be back behind the chair during the first week of August and will keep everyone updated!

Six years ago I was able to open my doors on my little dream.

My small 10x10 suite in Andover was open for business- I still can’t believe how far I’ve come.

Starting my hair journey 15 years ago, a barber in a small shop in Lowell then building through franchises from an assistant to management to educator- To renting a suite in the midst of a pandemic and opening my salon!
