A small schedule shift is coming to our weekly yoga classes. 💜

We’ve heard from a few folks that Tuesday mornings at 9:30 can be a tough time to make it to class, so beginning the week of October 26, our Tuesday and Wednesday classes are flip-flopping.

Our regular weekly rhythm will be:

🌿 Monday at 5:30 PM - Gentle Yoga with Marla
🧘 Tuesday at 12:30 PM - Inner Yoga with Sarah
🧘 Wednesday at 9:30 AM - Hatha Yoga with Sarah
💜 Friday at 4:30 PM - Gentle Yoga with Sarah

We’re hoping the change makes it a little easier for more of you to join us.

Next week is already wonderfully full of yoga, so we'll pause on rolling out the new schedule until the following week. Here's what's happening next week:

🌿 Monday 10/19 at 5:30 PM - Gentle Yoga with Marla
✨ Wednesday 10/21 at 5:30 PM - Sound Healing + Gentle Yoga (1 spot left)
💜 Friday 10/23 at 4:30 PM - Restorative Yoga + Yoga Nidra

One of the things I love about our intentionally small classes is that we can stay responsive to the people who actually practice with us. So please keep the feedback coming. If there are days, times, or other changes that would make yoga more accessible for you at Exhale, I’d genuinely love to hear.

Well, this is exciting! 🎙️💕 My very first podcast interview is officially out!

I had the absolute pleasure of joining Johanna of Feed The Matriarchy for a conversation about body image, diet culture, trauma-informed bodywork, and what it really means to feel safe in our own skin.

We talked about the ways we’ve been conditioned to apologize for our bodies, the importance of creating spaces where all bodies are welcomed and respected, and how practices like massage, yoga, and somatic awareness can help us reconnect with ourselves (and a few spicy & fun tidbits along the way!).

These are conversations I’m deeply passionate about, both personally and professionally, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to share them with a wider audience.

If you’ve ever struggled to feel at home in your body, I hope you’ll give this one a listen. ❤️

We’re officially moving into Vata season. 🍂

In Ayurveda, Vata is associated with the elements of air and space. Its qualities are light, mobile, cool, dry, and sometimes a little unpredictable - which can feel very familiar this time of year.

When that energy starts to feel scattered or unsteady, grounding practices can be especially supportive.

In today’s 4:30 PM Gentle Yoga class, we’ll explore:

🌿 Pelvic floor connection for a greater sense of inner steadiness
🌿 Grounding yet gentle asana to help us feel more rooted and supported
🌿 Weighted breath pillows to deepen awareness of the breath and encourage a more settled, nourishing practice

The goal isn’t to fight the season, but to meet its qualities with a little more balance, stability, and intention.

Join me today at 4:30 PM. 💜

Perimenopause can be a strange season. Your body may feel different. Your energy may feel different. Your sleep, mood, patience, temperature, focus…sometimes it can feel like the rules changed without anyone handing you the new handbook. 💜

That’s exactly why Marla created our new monthly Perimenopause Circle: Yoga, Conversation & Community.

Join us this Monday at 5:30 PM for 90 minutes of gentle yoga, honest conversation, and connection with others navigating this season too.

Marla is a longtime yoga teacher currently moving through perimenopause herself, and she’ll weave in practices she has personally found supportive along the way.

No need to have it figured out. No need to be “good at yoga.” Just come as you are.

Around the Main Line, massage prices vary pretty widely. You’ll find solo practitioners working from a single treatment room who charge less than Exhale, specialized practices charging considerably more, and everything in between.

We land pretty comfortably in the middle.

For comparison, a certain nearby massage chain (that rhymes with Shmassage Shmenvy 😉) charges $130 for a non-member “60-minute” massage. Their fine print explains that the hour includes consultation and dressing time, so the hands-on portion is actually 50 minutes.

At Exhale, when you book a 60-minute massage, you receive 60 minutes of session time.

But more importantly, here’s what we’re really pricing:

💜 Experienced massage therapists with enough space in their schedules to be fully present with you

💜 A session customized to what YOUR body needs that day, rather than a predetermined routine

💜 Time to communicate, settle in, and be heard

💜 Therapeutic techniques woven into your session when appropriate, rather than treating personalization as an upgrade

💜 A small practice where we genuinely get to know our clients, remember what works for you, and help connect you with the therapist who best fits your needs

💜 No membership contract and no pressure to buy products or add-ons

And there’s another piece of this that matters deeply to me.

I’ve been a massage therapist for 18 years, and one thing I’ve learned is that excellent care also requires creating a sustainable workplace for the people providing it. Our pricing helps us compensate experienced therapists fairly, give them breathing room between clients, provide the support they need, and build schedules that don’t depend on someone doing massage after massage after massage all day long.

That matters for our therapists, of course. But it matters for you too. We want the person working with you at the end of the day to have the same presence, attention, and energy they had for their first client.

And if regular massage is part of your care, our series pricing brings the per-session cost down too.

There will always be less expensive massage, and there will always be more expensive massage. We don’t aim to be either.

We aim to offer skilled, thoughtful, deeply personalized care at a price that supports both the client receiving the work and the therapist providing it.

That’s what you’re investing in when you come to Exhale. 💜
