Yesterday’s Chair to Boss event was so sweet. I left feeling inspired to give back to the next generation of stylists. The students entering our industry are lucky to have teachers and mentors who show up for them.

And seeing a baby stylist I actually know win an award? Such a bonus! 🥹

Thank you, Katie Deir, for inviting me. I had to step out for a bit, but I’m so glad I got to be there. It was wonderful meeting Mireya Villarreal, too. Hearing how you visited beauty schools to make this event happen meant a lot to me. That’s exactly the kind of support I would have loved as a student. These young stylists are lucky to have you, and so is Katie.

I also connected with some wonderful people, and I’m excited to work together on practical tools we can bring into our salon to help stylists avoid burnout.

Extensions are great for adding length, but they’re also amazing for anyone who just wants a little more fullness in their hair. I work with all sorts of textures, lengths, colors, and different extension options.

If you’ve been thinking about extensions but you’re just not sure, come on in for a consultation and let’s talk about it. And please don’t automatically assume that extensions have to cost an arm and a leg, because they really don’t! There are so many different options depending on your hair, your goals, and your budget.
