This is a perfect example of circulation.
When someone tells me their skin looks “dull,” that can mean 100 different things. It’s my job to look beyond the surface and figure out what your skin is actually trying to tell me.

A little reminder for the days when fear feels louder than faith:

We don’t have to know how it’s all going to work out. We just have to trust the One who already does.

God didn’t ask us to live afraid of what might happen. He asked us to walk by faith, not by fear.

ACNE CORRECTION COMES BEFORE SCAR CORRECTION.

And this is exactly why I want you to look at the whole picture when you see an acne before & after.

This client came to me struggling with cystic acne and, more importantly, she was ready to finally do something different.

Our goal from the beginning wasn’t to throw 15 products at her skin or promise an overnight transformation. We started with the foundation:

1. Correct the active acne.
2. Calm and stabilize the skin.
3. Maintain those results consistently.
4. THEN address the marks, texture & scarring left behind.

Her home routine was built specifically for her skin, her needs AND her budget. We paired that with consistent professional treatments and made consistency the priority.

And look at what’s happening.

There are significantly fewer active, inflamed breakouts across the cheeks, jawline and chin. The skin is calmer, and we’re starting to see the foundation we need to move into our next phase.

But I want to point something out:

The redness and leftover marks you still see are not “failure.”

They are part of the process.

Post-acne marks and scarring can take considerably longer to correct than the acne itself. Trying to aggressively treat those concerns while someone is still actively breaking out can mean we’re treating the aftermath while the original problem is still happening.

So we CORRECT first. REPAIR second.

Acne is stubborn. It can affect far more than your skin, it can affect the way you see yourself, the way you show up, and the confidence you feel walking into a room.

And you deserve to feel confident in your skin while we work toward healthier skin, not only after we get there.

Sometimes we get so caught up in the norm of following the lead of our favorite influencers that we forget to stop and think about who our biggest influence really is.

We can spend so much time watching what someone else is wearing, buying, doing, saying, creating… that without even realizing it, we start measuring ourselves against them.

But here’s your little reminder today: the people you admire are created by the same God who created you.

The same God who made them beautifully, intentionally, uniquely and wonderfully made, made you too.

Before there were influencers, there was the One who created every single person worth influencing. Before we ever followed someone else, we were already being pursued by Him.

And maybe our biggest “influencer” doesn’t have millions of followers at all.

Maybe He’s the One who knows every part of you, sees you completely, loves you without an algorithm, and reminds you that you were never meant to become a copy of someone else.

The Holy Spirit is the influence I want to follow. 🤍

Because trends change. People change. Beauty standards change. Algorithms change.

But the One who created you knew exactly what He was doing.

“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” -Psalm 139:14

So follow people who inspire you. Learn from them. Love their style. Double tap their posts.

But don’t forget to look up every now and then and remember Who made the person you’re admiring, and Who made you. 🦋🤍
