Happy Day of Rest, Dandelions! I recently had a regular client tell me they thought they needed to come up with something for me to work on at every session. I reassured them that this is not necessary and it is absolutely okay and even therapeutic to receive a relaxation massage. So let’s chat about that.

Swedish massage or relaxation massage IS therapeutic massage! Why? Because according to the simple Merriam-Webster definition, it’s still creating a positive change in the body and mind. By using slow, long gliding strokes over the entire body, we increase blood flow, lower cortisol (stress hormone) and increase those happy endorphins.
Stress does so much damage to the body, and when we are in a constant state of fight or flight we cannot fully release or let go of stress. A relaxation massage supports the rest and digest part of the nervous system creating an environment for your mind and body to reset.

This time is dedicated to you. Every massage is client focused and tailored to your needs or wants. I might make recommendations, but ultimately, it’s your session. So get your relaxation on. 🙌

Hey Dandelions… Some seeds of hope for you.
Let’s talk how massage and touch can support overall wellness.

💛 Research shows that massage reduces cortisol reducing stress. That’s always a win!

💛 Massage has been known to enhance sleep quality. I always take the best nap after a massage.

💛 Regular massages can increase endorphins and elevate mood. We’re talking those happy hormones, oxytocin, serotonin, and dopamine.

💛 Moderate pressure touch communicates with the nervous system and can encourage calmness. Bringing the body into that parasympathetic calm state.

Massage is not just a luxury, it’s an important part of your wellness. Most clients like monthly sessions just for maintenance, but some choose to receive massage every two weeks. It’s how your body responds that will determine how often you might want to come.

I want everyone to leave my table feeling better than when they walked in. I wish healing, transformation, and hope for the life you’re growing into. 🌱
