In 2019, I spoke about reaching people beyond the ones sitting in my chair.

Years of listening, building trust, and touching lives one person at a time made me want to extend that connection further.

Watching this seven years later, I recognize the same purpose in what I’m building today. More experience. A clearer direction. And still work to do.

The vision has history. This is part of mine.

Lake views. Good company. A good cigar. A little time on the water—and one very clear realization: tubing has officially been checked off the bucket list. 😂

I tried it. I survived the crash. And I can confidently say I never have to do that again.

Sometimes enjoying life means saying yes to the experience—at least once.

Starting over doesn’t mean starting from nothing.

Coming to North Carolina meant rebuilding—new surroundings, new relationships, and trust that had to be earned one client at a time.

But I didn’t arrive empty-handed. I brought decades of experience, the lessons from owning two barbershops, and a standard that had already been tested.

A new chapter may change what surrounds you, but it cannot erase what experience has built within you.

Sometimes starting over is exactly how you build it better.

What are you carrying into your next chapter?
