A couple of days ago I bought some chalk for the little kids’ table at my barbershop. I wrote “Jesus loves you!” on it for the little ones to see when they come in. For a long time I’ve wanted to dedicate my shop to the Lord. That’s actually why I named it True Vine Hair Company, after John chapter 15.

After I finished cutting a young man’s hair, his mom and little brother paid and headed out. I swept up my station and was cleaning around my chair when I happened to glance over at the chalk table.

The little boy (maybe 6 or 7 years old) had written a message under what I wrote:

“💙 Jesus is good.”

I just stood there and teared up. 🥹

Kids have the sweetest, simplest faith. That little message meant more to me than he’ll probably ever know.

Yes He is good, little man. All the time, Jesus is good. ✝️
