Sometimes your hair just needs a little reset…

She came in ready to get her hair feeling like her again. We used a partial highlight + lowlight to blend through previous color, soften her grays, and bring everything together without overdoing it.

Then came the curls! Her bangs were feeling a little too heavy and disconnected, so we reshaped everything into a modern curly s**g, blending those bangs into the rest of her cut and creating lots of movement and volume.

Now her curls have room to do what they’re supposed to do CURL!

When blonding curly hair, placement and hair health matter. Curly hair is naturally more prone to dryness, so I’m extra intentional with how and where I lighten to protect her curl pattern while still getting her nice and bright.

We went in with a reverse balayage, adding rich brunette dimension back throughout while still keeping just enough brightness to give her that soft, lived-in look.

The deeper tones complemented her skin tone beautifully, gave her hair the appearance of being fuller and healthier, and brought everything back into balance.

This client was ready to say goodbye to her old extensions. They were getting brassy, and even though she has a beautiful natural curl pattern, she was never really able to wear her extensions naturally because the texture just didn’t match.

So we customized everything to HER hair.

We started with a custom partial highlight and tone to create the perfect color blend, then installed ONE ROW of 24” curly hand-tied extensions customized to match her natural curl pattern.

The result? The length she’s always wanted without having to sacrifice wearing her hair naturally. And YES all of this length and fullness came from just ONE weft!

Curly girls deserve extensions too, and they shouldn’t have to straighten their natural texture just to make them blend.
