Another beautiful day for the farmer's market! We have our new tallow butters here today as well as all of the other favorites! We only have a few more outdoor markets left for the season.

After that, we are set up to attend The Mom's Market on November 14th at the Monroe Middle School, as well as the Christkindlmarkt at Turner Hall November 27th and 28th.

Did you know that the bags that our dish kits and Evey's duck soaps come in are certified home compostable?? One of the things I try incredibly hard at is keeping the amount of plastic we use down. While it do make things far more expensive, it's just something that we value ❤️🌏

So it's been quite a busy week here! I desperately needed to get some things out of my freezers so that I can make room for more beef fat to render.

The cooler months are typically when I do most of my prep work and soap making. That way I can spend time outside in the garden during the summer months.

Well with that being said, we had 34 gallon sized bags of tomatoes in the freezers and we also had half a beef we recently got.

So Monday was cooking and canning ground beef and rendering down the beef fat I got with our half a beef

Tuesday was finishing up with my rendering, making 2 batches of soap including one with the deer tallow I rendered the end of last year, and making whipped tallow butter for my massage practice as well as 3 different scents for sale.

Yesterday (Wednesday) was literally clean up from all of it 😂

Today I've been working on getting listings and photos up for the new stuff coming soon and I will be working on labels for the new whipped tallows. I'm really hoping that I can get those done yet today so I can take them Saturday.

Oh and all of those tomatoes?? Well I have canned 12 of those bags and also have 12 more down in the fridge thawing out so I can can those next week...still 10 more bags in the freezer 😅 Dang.

I am swamped today, so I won't be set up at the farmer's market today. We still plan to be there this Saturday, but today I just need to try to catch up a bit. Thanks for understanding!

Yesterday was duck soap making day!! I didn't get any pictures during the process, but here are some fun after pictures!

These will need 4 weeks to cure. We may have them at the market on Halloween, but otherwise, we will have them at the Mom's Market November 14th at the Monroe Middle School, as well at the Turner Hall Chistkindlmarkt on November 27th and 28th
