🌱❤️ Planting Seeds of Knowledge in My Granddaughters ❤️🌱

There is something so special about teaching my granddaughters where their food comes from and why caring for the earth matters.

Today, I’m teaching them about fall planting, growing healthy crops, caring for the soil, and the importance of eating healthy USDA Certified Organic foods. But these lessons are about so much more than farming.

As I watch my granddaughters learn, get their hands in the soil, and discover the joy of growing food, I realize that I’m planting more than seeds in the garden. I’m planting memories, wisdom, healthy habits, and a love for the land that I hope they carry with them for generations. 🌿💚

My greatest hope is that they will one day look back and remember these moments with Grandma—and understand that every seed we planted together was a seed of love, health, knowledge, and legacy.

One seed. One lesson. One generation at a time. 🌱❤️

🎉❤️ Happy 93rd Birthday to My Beautiful Mom, Martha Samuels! ❤️🎉

🌺🌿 HARVEST DAY! 🌿🌺

There’s nothing like harvest day on the farm! Today we’re gathering our beautiful USDA Organic Hibiscus and Pine Cone Ginger, grown with care and respect for the soil, the plants, and our environment. 🌱

❤️ Hibiscus is naturally rich in antioxidants and is traditionally enjoyed as a refreshing herbal tea with a beautiful ruby-red color and tart, cranberry-like flavor.

🍃 Pine Cone Ginger brings a unique ginger aroma and flavor to herbal teas and wellness blends. Ginger has been traditionally valued for its warming and soothing qualities.

From our organic farm to your cup, we’re growing wellness—one harvest at a time. 🌿☕️

✨ See you tomorrow at Palafox Market! Come by, say hello, and take home a little piece of our farm.

🌱 Saving Seeds Today for a Greener Tomorrow! 🌱

Here at Dr. Nettles USDA Organic Farm, we’re covering the seed pods of our green tea plants with protective mesh as they mature. 🍃

Our green tea plant, Camellia sinensis, produces beautiful seeds that we carefully collect and save for future planting. By covering the seed pods with mesh, we help protect them from wildlife and prevent the precious seeds from being lost.

Every seed we save represents a future plant, a future harvest, and another opportunity to restore nature and protect our environment. 🌎💚

We believe farming is more than growing food—it’s about being good stewards of the land, preserving what nature gives us, and planting for generations to come. 🌱

Save the seeds. Grow the future. Restore nature. 🌿

🌿✨ Master Gardener of the Month! ✨🌿

I am truly honored and humbled to be selected as Master Gardener of the Month! 💚🌱

Gardening has become so much more than planting seeds for me—it is about growing people, sharing knowledge, nurturing our communities, and helping others discover the healing power of plants.

I am grateful for every opportunity to teach, serve, learn, and give back through gardening. Every seed planted is a reminder that with patience, love, and care, something beautiful can grow. 🌻

Thank you to my fellow Master Gardeners and everyone who continues to support and encourage me on this journey. I am blessed to serve, and I will keep planting seeds of knowledge, wellness, and hope! 🌱💚
