If you’ve been a regular client of mine for a while, you know I have MS. Some of you have even had a front row seat to a flare.

Lately, I’ve been dealing with changes that feel more lasting: less energy, slower thinking, and mental and physical exhaustion that’s hard to explain. These are the invisible symptoms. I know I often look fine, but looking fine doesn’t tell the whole story.

If you know me, you also know I usually have a million things going on and I’m terrible at sitting still. But I think it’s time for me to start. I’m going to slowly step back from doing nails and make more room to take care of myself.

For now, I’m not accepting new nail clients. My online booking has been off for some time, and I’ve decided to leave it off. I’ll continue seeing my existing clients as I’m able.

I also need to address pricing. My price list has been available online and at my station for years, but I haven’t always charged what’s listed. That’s on me, and I know I haven’t clearly talked about it. Going forward, I’ll be charging according to my posted price list. I’m not raising those prices, but some of you may see an increase from what I’ve charged you in the past. Tips are not included in the listed prices; they’re appreciated, but never expected.

You’re always welcome to give me creative freedom, too. We’ll talk about the price before I start so I know what you’re comfortable spending. If your budget that day is $90, for example, I’ll choose a look that fits within $90. And if you don’t have a design in mind and would rather do a solid color, that’s completely fine.

I understand if my listed prices no longer work for you, and I respect whatever you decide. I’m grateful for everyone who has sat across from me and supported my work. Thank you for giving me the space to make these changes. ❤️
