Last night, while attending the Elevation Nights concert, something happened that truly touched my heart, and I wanted to share it with all of you. ❤️

During the concert, they spoke about sponsoring children in underserved communities around the world. Children who need access to education, nutritious meals, and, most importantly, hope for a brighter future.

At first, I wasn’t sure if this was something I was supposed to do. I sat there thinking about it, wondering if I should take that step.

But something in my heart told me to scan the QR code.

And when I did… I knew God was speaking to me. 🥹

On my screen appeared a sweet little boy named Pearson, a 7-year-old from Malawi, Africa.

As I read his information, I noticed his birthday.

January 13th, 2019.

The SAME birthday as mine and the SAME birth year as my daughter. 😭❤️

Out of all the children in the world, all the profiles I could have received, THIS little boy appeared on my screen.

Some may call it a coincidence, but I call it GOD. 🙌🏼

I couldn’t help but think, Lord, who am I that You would allow me to be part of this little boy’s story? A child living thousands of miles away, someone I may never have the opportunity to meet, yet somehow You connected our paths.

And in that moment, I knew what I needed to do.

Today, I am so incredibly proud to announce that Highly Favored Aesthetics & Wellness will be sponsoring Pearson through monthly contributions, helping provide access to education, nutritious meals, and opportunities for a brighter future. ❤️

But what makes this even more special to me is that my children will get to be part of this journey, too. 🥹❤️

My kids and I will have the opportunity to write letters back and forth with Pearson, share updates about our lives, learn about his, and watch his journey unfold.

As a mother, that means EVERYTHING to me.

I want my children to grow up understanding that the world is so much bigger than what they see every day. That there are children their age living completely different lives, but who deserve the same love, opportunities, and hope.

I want my children to understand that being blessed isn’t about what we HAVE, but about what we’re willing to GIVE. 🤍

And how beautiful is it that my daughter and Pearson were born in the same year? Two children growing up on opposite sides of the world, now connected through something so much bigger than us.

I pray this becomes a lifelong lesson for my babies about compassion, gratitude, generosity, and God’s love. ❤️

Because to me, being Highly Favored has NEVER been just about running a business, making money, or providing services.

It’s about being a blessing because God has blessed us.

And here’s the part that makes me emotional…

YOU are part of this, too. 🥹

Every appointment you book, every service you receive, every referral you send our way, and every time you choose our small business, you are helping us make a difference.

Your support doesn’t just help our family. It doesn’t just help us give back to our local community.

Your support is now reaching across the WORLD. 🌎❤️

A little boy in Malawi, Africa, whom we may never have known existed, will now have a family thousands of miles away cheering him on, praying over him, writing to him, and investing in his future.

And that is something no amount of money could ever compare to.

I truly believe God doesn’t bless us just so we can hold on to those blessings. He blesses us so we can pour into others.

I pray that as Highly Favored continues to grow, so does our ability to give, serve, and make an impact far beyond the walls of our little medspa.

To every single one of our clients, THANK YOU. From the bottom of our hearts. You may think you’re simply supporting a small, family-owned business, but you’re helping us fulfill a much bigger purpose. 🥹

And to sweet Pearson, you may be thousands of miles away, but you now have a family in Texas praying for you, believing in you, and cheering you on. We cannot wait to exchange our first letters and learn more about you! ❤️

Who would have thought that a little family-owned business in Mission, Texas, could be part of changing a child’s life on the other side of the world?

But that’s the beautiful thing about God.

💜 Some races are about crossing the finish line… but this one is about something so much bigger. 🥹💜

On November 7th, I’ll be participating in my FIRST EVER 5K! 🏃🏻‍♀️💜 And I truly couldn’t think of a better reason to take on this challenge than for my longtime friend Kelsey and her precious baby boy, Eliam. 💜

In 2021, Eliam was diagnosed with Dravet syndrome, a rare and severe form of epilepsy. Since then, I’ve watched his mama walk a journey that no parent ever imagines having to face. Through the challenges, uncertainty, and difficult days, she continues to show incredible strength, love, and determination while advocating for her baby boy. 🥹

As a mama myself, this one hits differently. ❤️‍🩹

Sometimes we take the simplest things for granted, not realizing that another family is praying for those very same moments.

That’s why Joshua and I have officially signed up, and Highly Favored Aesthetics & Wellness is so proud to sponsor this race! 💜

I’m not a runner, and I honestly don’t know how I’ll do on my first 5K 😂, but I know one thing: Every step I take will be for Eliam, his mama, and every family fighting a battle like theirs. 💜

I want to personally invite our clients, friends, family, and community to join us! You don’t have to be a runner. You don’t have to be the fastest. Just SHOW UP. Walk, jog, run, or simply come support! 🫶🏼

Because sometimes the biggest difference we can make is simply showing someone that they don’t have to walk their journey alone.
