October Promotion
Banned Book Month
I love reading and wether this passion springs from nature or nurture it has been life long. My daughter also loves reading but I have recently discovered that there have been several classics I read throughout school that she has not read yet. So I wish to expand her education by sharing some of my favorites, along with some that are still on my reading list, with her. And with everything going digital I have had this urge to go back to the security of having more hard copy or paper books to stock my shelves. So where better to start than with those sometimes controversial but beautifully thought-provoking classics and when better than Banned Book Week.
Banned Book Week is October 4th-10th and to honor and reminisce on these classics as well as include you all in my hunt, I have decided to do a Banned Book Month Promotion.
Bring in a decent copy of one of the books on my list during October and earn an extra $10 off your massage this month or 10 xtra points put on your account for future use.
With your help I can restock my shelves with these classics and old favorites as well as donate any duplicate titles to either the library or a school in need of a copy after the month wraps up.
My Book Wish List:
Black Beauty- Anna Sewell
James and the Giant Peach- Roald Dahl
Where the Sidewalk Ends- Shel Silverstein
Bridge to Terabithia- Katherine Paterson
Adventures of Huckleberry Finn- Mark Twain
The Diary of a Young Girl- Anne Frank

October Updates ( Price Increase)
Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils
I have always used Young Living essential oils in every massage, apart from personal requests for no “smelly” oils, which does not happen often. I have added these oils at no xtra charge because I believe in their added benefit to your results, aiding in muscle relaxation, calming tissue inflammation &/or your nerves, etc. But with the cost of everything rising lately I have finally had to cave to charging a little extra for my little helpers.
So starting October 4th, 2026 you will be able to continue to have 2 of my Regular Essential Oils added to your massage session for only $5 more. This is an add-on and will not affect the base price of the treatments. If you do not care for the oils one way or another you can still have your massage as before, I will just be using the non-infused jojoba oil.
Another, more cost-effective choice for my oil lovers is to order your favorites from me when I do my monthly order and you can take them home and bring them with you for your massages at no extra charge. You can also have me store them at the office to be utilized exclusively for your massages when you schedule them. Overall, this is a higher charge initially that will work out to save you around half the individual add-on cost depending on which oils you choose.
Please message me here or through the business # for more info or to order the oils you would like. I have also listed here the oils I will be using regularly for the $5 add-on.

Rewards
September marks 1 year I have been utilizing a points system for my services and the idea behind the whole thing is pretty simple. The more consistently you find the time and funds for your own self-care, the bigger rewards you can earn for future treatments.
Self-Care Rewards Program
Every 60 minute service + 5 points
Every 90 minute service + 10 points
Referrals
New Client-$15 off 1st service
Referring client- 15 points added to account
6-month consistency bonus
1 service a month for 6 consecutive months earns a points match or doubling of current unused points at the 6 month mark.
1 point=$1
Any amount of points can be redeemed once 20 points are accrued.
Stay consistent with your self-care and you can work towards real healing instead of getting the occasional treatment that only provides temporary relief, holding your pain and dysfunction at bay. Your consistency keeps you winning the pain/stress game and builds you up enough points for at least 1-2 free massages a year. This regularity also makes my job a little easier with more effective and longer lasting results.
I love a good Win/Win.

May Gift Card Promo Business Showcase:
Elevate by Mia
Inside the Minot Center for Health and Wellness is the welcoming, safe and restorative space Mia has created for all to release stress and pain induced by our own overactive sympathetic nervous system using Sound Therapy.
The best way I could think of to explain and recommend this incredible therapy is to walk you through one of my sessions with Mia so you can get the full picture.
The front office of the building is a perfectly suited introduction to the energy of the treatment I will receive, grounding and refreshing. Mia greets me with a warm smile and brings me to her office to discuss my areas of concern and goals for treatment. Her office is soothing in every way, from the relaxing scent of palo santo in the air, to the natural lighting and simple nature based decoration. I lay on a comfortable adjustable table topped with a heated crystal mat, a plush pillow and the super soft and fluffy, slightly weighted blanket that helps to form the perfect cocoon of comfort. You can choose to have her use just the singing bowls, tuning forks or a combination of both.
I highly recommend doing both.
Once Im comfortable, Mia sits on the floor in the middle of her instruments. The musical tones of the bowls accompanied by Mia’s occasional guided meditation creates the audible relaxation, while the frequencies I could feel slightly vibrating in different areas of my body and at times all over felt incredibly relaxing and relieved some of my anxiety and digestive discomfort. I felt as though I could breathe deeper and easier. Then she walks around the table striking different tuning forks and lightly placing them on different areas of my body, allowing the fork’s vibration to travel. One placed around my collar bone sent a vibration that seemed to relieve some physical pain I was having in my head and shoulder.
Now these results are unique to me because every person and every problem is different, so each person and each session will feel different depending on the stressors your nervous system is dealing with at the time. I believe I get more physical releases because the majority of my stress is expressed physically so as soon as she gets me out of sympathetic overdrive, my tension melts.
Long term results for me: Each time I have had a treatment, I always sleep better, have more steady energy throughout the day and calmer focus for about a week.
Anyone trying to improve or maintain their overall health and wellness needs a support team and I highly recommend adding Mia to yours.

May Gift Card Promo Business Showcase
I got a Deluxe Pedicure from Vicki at Nail Glamor this week, finally ready for spring and sandals.🥳. Nail Glamor’s space has a relaxing and positive vibe. I loved the roomy massage chairs that have dynamic rollerball settings and movements. The treatment had a great flow, while the chair worked my back and a little of my glutes and hammys too, I got moisturizer and hot towels on my calves, paraffin dip and a great foot/ calf massage with hot stones. During all this relaxing I had my nails quickly and skillfully cleaned and beautified by Vicki, who also uses great steady pressure in her massage and with the foot scraper, (I barely noticed my usual ticklish spots)!!
Now why do I feel the need to share all this?
1. I believe in raving about quality experiences in detail and showing my appreciation.
2. I got a Gift Card for this Deluxe Pedicure when I left as one of my 4 Gifts I will be giving away with a drawing this month.
Want to qualify for a chance to win? Just buy a Tranquil Bodhi gift card for at least an hour service anytime during May.
All Drawings will be done May 31st, good luck.
