Fun fact....I forget EVERY year on my business's anniversary date because it falls around labor day (and I have the brain of a squirel on m**h) 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Yesterday was 8 years of being a business's owner (Peep my beautiful bride who I spent the date with 😍😍😍😍) Happy anniversary Sweet Ginger Hair!

Eight years has truly flown in all the best ways possible. Babies, surgeries, pandemics, and more-and yet here we all are living, loving, and being our authentic selves.

I can never thank my clients enough for allowing me to do the thing I love so much that fills my cup, brings me joy, expresses my creativity, and supports myself & my family.

The support this past year feels even that much more important with allllll the patience and grace given during my Mastectomy. I truly you love you all and gratitude does not even begin to cover it. Because of all of you, I can be me🤟🤟🤟🤟

My goal is to get enough tomatoes & basil for a big batch of homemade marinade, enough cucumber & peppers to pickle.

Hopefully my salad greens will grow and we can go grab those when we need them.

It's a lot of work for a little bit, but knowing it's safe, home-grown, and every little bit comes from hard work and love...makes it all worth it.

Well Summer & Welcome Back!

First and foremost, I want to thank you for your time, patience, and support during my surgical leave. Everything went according to plan, I’m healing well, my risk for breast cancer is now very low (less than 5%—yay!), and I’m back to working full time.

I am moving a tiny bit more slowly in comparison to my speed demon self, so I’ve extended appointment times slightly to give myself a small buffer between clients. You’ll still receive the prompt, thorough, and detailed service you’re used to, and I appreciate your understanding as I work back up to 100%. You probably won’t notice any difference, and I’ll communicate anything out of the ordinary.

Secondary-there are a lot of new fun things on the horizon!

First-I am offering more extension services with many colors in stock and ready to install! Extensions are a great way of filling in sparse front hair lines (your favorite red-headed hairstylist has these-ask to see them!) adding all over volume or length on hair that seems like it refuses to grow! Feel free to message me for more details & ask about them at your next service.

The crew got haircuts and I'm pretty sure Mr. Angel eyes over here has never looked cuter🤣😭

Today was a hard day. The transition of being "off" but cranking away at all the things I need to do for my recovery, getting ready to return to work, and big changes with my ADHD brain does not want to process very easily...for some reason all has culminated in some very strong anxiety the last week or so.

I was so upset I didnt know if I could make it through my day, and then God & the universe provided such supporting and loving people, who I also got to in turn show love to, laugh, love, grieve & feel grateful for every single day, even the hard ones.

Thank you to everyone who helped me today & special thank you to these beauties I got to end my night with. . We laughed, probably cried, ate & created some beautiful hair.

I love my job. I love being back at work. I love that I can connect so intimately with other amazing women who lift me when I need a boost, and I can lift up when they need that raising up❤️
