The Distinctive Edge was started in 2006 to provide a much needed sharpening service in the Memphis area and strives to have the highest quality and most reliable shear services available . TDE yearns to be the most preferred and sought out company for sharpening, repair, and shear sales and accessories for all Stylist and Barbers in the greater Memphis area. Mike has been trained by several "Master" Sharpeners that own their own shear companies such as Bonika Shears, Airus Eickert shear company, and Edgemaster USA. Mike attends continuing education classes twice a year to stay on top of his trade and to learn new skills to be the most educated and knowledgeable sharpener around.
