Dear valued clients,
I want to start off by saying how grateful I am to each and every one of you that have sat in my chair over the past 25 years! It has been such a rewarding and wonderful career and all of you made that possible!

I am letting you all know that after much consideration and thought I have decided to hang up my shears and retire from being behind the chair. As the demand on my time and future goals have changed, being in the salon no longer aligns with either. My last day has yet to be determined, but looking like probably June (limited before then). Of course I want to make sure each of you are happy and confident when finding your new stylist, I can make recommendations of other stylists in the area that I am sure will take great care of you and your hair! If you would like the list please reach out to me!

This was not an easy decision but one that I need to make for my future and has been on my mind for quite sometime. Again, thank you all so much for a wonderful 25 years and I hope our paths cross again in the future!

We have been so incredibly grateful for all of your thoughts, well wishes & prayers over the last year. Sadly, I hope you will spare me more.
On Feb. 13th what was supposed to be a happy scans follow-up turned unreal.
They saw what appeared to be a linear area of DCIS in situ & a biopsy would need done the next day. On Monday night I was diagnosed breast cancer - again.
Bilateral breast cancer with only 1% odds. It’s unbelievable and I am devastated. It was caught earlier this time and doesn’t appear to have invaded the ducts or anything else.
Over the course of the last year, I had 2 breast surgeries, 12 weekly chemotherapy, 25 radiation treatments & have been on Tamoxifen for 6 months.
Moving quickly I have surgery tomm. morning in Sioux Falls, SD at 5:30am. My cancer surgeon and plastic surgeon will operate at the same time & I will get my cancer out - again. I just have to endure some more pain & WIN this again.
We have set the store for Spring/Summer so that piece is at least done with more new merchandise coming. It looks so nice!
