I often get asked what my top three tips are for caring for your skin. Here are three that no matter what your skin type is, you should keep in mind:

🔸DON’T overwash your skin. I know, it’s hard. You want to scrub it and make it squeaky clean. But overwashing can break down the acid barrier, strip your skin of vital nutrients and send it into a hyperactive, irritated state. Overwashing can cause your skin to create more oil to try to compensate.

🔸DO use a toner. A toner is one of the most important steps in your skincare routine and should come before moisturizing and hydration. A toner helps to disperse serums further using less, which helps you be more economical with expensive products applied after the toning step. It also helps to restore the natural pH to your skin

🔸DO use a night cream. A night cream can help with anti-aging, breakouts, and acts as an antibacterial while your skin does the vital work of resetting and repairing while you sleep. Applying a nutrient-rich, rehydrating night cream can help fight off hormonal issues and help your skin deeply replenish. A night cream is truly the key to getting your “beauty sleep”.
