One of the most important things I learned from my teacher Charlene when doing hands on healing through cranial sacral work was this:

When you’re comfortable and at ease in your body and mind during a service - your client can feel that as trust, confidence, and safety.

The reason you feel like you “were on another planet” or “the most relaxed you’ve ever been”

Is because I work really hard on my own mind and body to create a safe and grounded space for you (and me) to be in the present moment while I’m working.

One trick I do if I feel a little stuck energy in my body is to literally breathe as a deep as I can into whatever is bothering me - maybe a shoulder or nerve…and slowly let it go through an exhale.

Holding space for ultimate nervous system unwinding and deep self care is something I’ve learned through much practice. From the jungles of Costa Rica, the beaches of Dominican, and the sacred sites of Sedona, to right here with a chair and mirror..

My mission no matter what phase of life I’m in with my career path is to always be a haven for empowerment to women through self care.

As I’m in a big phase of mothering my own teenage children, life has grounded me here in Michigan for now - and called me into the treatment room to serve the women who need a retreat, but also need to be right here.

The services I have put together in the sanctuary are more than just a trend, it’s vitality. It’s health. It’s nourishing to the body and mind.

Pretty soon I will be making a transition to more spa services, and ways to work together in health, wellness, and beauty.

I’ve found combining release of the fascia, muscles, and lymph inthe neck, shoulders, and chest supports the relief of the muscle in the scalp, jaw, and face.

Everyone has been asking me how I’ve taken off so fast with my Michigan based head spa and here’s the truth..

I have a solid foundation from one of my best friends Holistic Scalp Specialist, Educator & Founder who has lived and breathed holistic scalp care (and in my opinion pioneered this massive shift of hairstylists leaning into self care as art) for as long as I’ve known her!

Her education is scientifically intelligent, super easy to understand, and empowering to take action right away - no matter what kind of environment you’re in (I started at my regular shampoo bowl!!)

I really believe knowledge is power and applying your own energy to your craft makes you magnetic!
