Customer satisfaction can make or break a brand. Rhode Cosmetics proved this by listening to influencer feedback on their new blushes. When beauty influencer Golloria highlighted that the shades weren’t inclusive, Rhode founder Hailey Bieber responded quickly, adjusting the shades to be more suitable for diverse skin tones.
This move wasn’t just about changing a product—it was about valuing customer voices. And it paid off. When brands truly listen and act on feedback, they create loyal fans and lasting connections.

I am so excited to share that Women for Women JA Foundation was featured in Jamaica's local newspaper, The Gleaner! Being able to use my business and marketing skills to empower women and make a difference has been a dream come true.
The article touched on my journey and how empathy has always driven my mission. It’s been amazing to see how those early lessons in community and leadership at Emma Willard School have shaped the foundation and our Thrift and Give store.
It’s proof that combining passion with purpose can lead to real change. ✨

Fenty Beauty is finally coming to the Caribbean! 🥳
It’s exciting to see a major brand like Fenty Beauty making moves in the Caribbean, bringing their inclusive range and innovative products closer to home. But honestly, I’m a little sad it’s not launching in Jamaica just yet. 😢 Hopefully, we’ll see that happen soon!
This news got me thinking. Brands often overlook the Caribbean when expanding, even though we have such a strong market with unique culture and diverse beauty. It’s time for more companies to recognize the value here!
What do you all think? How do you feel about Fenty’s Caribbean launch, and do you believe brands should prioritize that region more?
Drop your thoughts below! 🗣️

Outside of marketing, I'm all about sunshine, sand, and a taste of home 🇯🇲
There’s something so special about the simple pleasures of life. Growing up in Jamaica, nothing feels more like home than a plate of fried dumplings and ackee and saltfish—one of our national dishes. Add in a view like this? Heaven on Earth! 💛
The beach is my happy place, where time slows down and all that matters is good food and good vibes. If you’re from an island, you get it. And if you’re not, this is my way of sharing a piece of home with you.
What food or place makes you feel at home? Drop a comment and let’s celebrate those feel-good moments together! ✨

Why Building Brand Communities Matters: A Lesson from Fenty Beauty ✨
As loneliness rises, strong brand communities matter more than ever. People crave connection, and successful brands know it! Take fentybeauty—where inclusivity and authenticity aren’t just buzzwords, they’re at the heart of everything the brand does.
Rihanna didn’t just launch a beauty line; she built a movement. With over 50 foundation shades, Fenty Beauty embraced diversity and shattered norms. In 40 days, the brand pulled in $100 million. The key? Community.
Visit their Instagram, and you’ll see it—real people, real stories, real connections. Rihanna said it best: “Fenty Beauty by Rihanna was created for everyone: for women of all shades, personalities, attitudes, cultures, and races.” 💬
For marketers, this is gold. It’s about more than products. It’s about connecting people through shared values and authenticity. When people feel like they belong, they stick around.
Marketing isn’t just about products. It’s about creating real communities that stay because they feel part of something bigger.
Let’s keep building communities where people connect, feel inspired, and know they belong! 🩷
